Description

IMPA AQUARUB, reinforced with an approved geotextile layer, is an excellent sealing compound, and is recommended for waterproofing of:

  • Parapet walls
  • Flashings
  • Non-trafficable concrete and flat roofs
  • Sealing of laps, screw holes and joints on corrugated roofs

Features

  • Highly resistant to degradation by UV rays
  • Flexible under all ambient temperatures
  • Easy to apply.
  • Thixotropic - will not flow on vertical walls.
  • Resists fungus and mould growth
  • Non-toxic.
  • All-in-one system - no primers or topcoat required (except with metal which may require a rust   inhibitor)
  • A non-toxic water-based rubberized emulsion compound with high flexibility, ideal for most roofing details.
  • In permanent ponding applications seven rain-free days curing time is needed. Drying time depends on ambient temperature and humidity.
  • Not recommended where exposure to negative water pressure is present.
  • Not recommended for swimming pools or fibre glass applications.
  • Can be used with or without waterproofing membrane. See full specification.
